Season 4 - 2013 - Tales of Love, Forgiveness, and Redemption
In 2013, we officially became Lawrence Opera Theatre, marking a new chapter for the company. The season, titled "Tales of Love, Forgiveness, and Redemption," was our most ambitious yet, featuring our first-ever cantata—Debussy’s L'enfant Prodigue (the Prodigal Son). This year also introduced partnership with Signs of Life Bookstore and continued involvement with Lawrence Jewish Community Congregation, further expanding our reach within the community. Through a compelling mix of performances, we explored timeless themes of love and redemption, showcasing the emotional depth and artistry that have become hallmarks of Lawrence Opera Theatre’s productions.
