In 2016, Lawrence Opera Theatre celebrated the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's legacy with the season theme Shakespeare 400. Through a mix of performances, we explored the drama, wit, and romance of Shakespeare’s stories, bringing them to life in a fresh, operatic context that connected classical literature with powerful music.
