Craig Patterson, AIA|ALA|NCARB, has practiced architecture since his graduation from the University of Kansas in 1972. He has been active in architectural education and the profession in Kansas and Missouri, has practiced in fifteen states nationally, and has had international project experience during his career. He founded CP&Associates in 1976 and continues as its principle actively working with clients in urban design, master planning, architectural/interior design, cultural resource assessment/planning, and historic preservation. He has been locally, regionally and nationally recognized for design excellence in each of these practice areas. He actively supports the University of Kansas, KU Alumni Association, Historic Mount Oread Fund, KU Libraries Board of Advocates, KU School of Music, and Lawrence Opera Theatre among other civic organizations in a variety of roles and capacities. Patterson currently is a member of the Board of Trustees for Freedom’s Frontier National Heritage Area which helps promote and articulate the enduring story of freedom across the Kansas/Missouri border.
