Auditions

Lawrence Opera Theatre holds annual auditions through YapTracker for our summer season. Audition applications are generally open from November to March, with in-person auditions held in Lawrence, KS, and Northridge, CA (video submissions are always accepted). Singers of all experience levels—high school students, college students, community singers, and professionals—are encouraged to apply. Whether you choose to audition live or submit a video, we look forward to welcoming all singers and performers for an exciting summer of opera and musical theatre!

If cast, artists are expected to have roles, cover roles, and assigned music learned by the first rehearsal, and must have paid the participation fee or made arrangements to do so.
