Auditions for Lawrence Opera Theatre’s summer season usually take place in between March and early May. Singing professionals, emerging vocal artists, and high school and local community singers are encouraged to audition; no experience in opera is necessary! Two days of auditions are held at Theatre Lawrence (4660 Bauer Farm Dr., Lawrence, KS). Auditions are also held at the California State University, Northridge, and must be scheduled with Hugo Vera directly. Video submissions may be submitted and are encouraged if you do not live near an audition site.
Information about auditions for the upcoming season and sign-up for an audition slot are available on YAPTracker. You do not have to pay to join YAPTracker; however, there is a $25 fee to secure your audition slot.
